Swimming Pool Safety Covers

A safety cover gives reassurance, knowing that your family, pets, neighbors, and anyone who might come to your property will remain safe. Almost all of our new inground pool customers decide to get a safety cover because not only are they safe, but they also visually look better. A traditional pool cover may only last one or two seasons, while a safety cover comes with longer warranties.

Multiple Brands to Choose From

Swim-N-Pools Billiards & Spas carriers a number of the top brands in swimming pool safety covers. When it comes to safety and warranty, choosing a good brand is important.

Mesh versus Solid Covers

With a mesh cover, you don't have to worry about having a cover pump, as the water goes through the mesh material, while debris, such as leaves, are kept out. Many of our customers enjoy the low hassle, low maintainance of a mesh cover. Mesh covers also weigh significantly less than their counterparts. On the other hand, the advantage of of a solid cover, is that water and sunlight are kept out of the pool. This makes opening your pool in the spring time easier, as it's more likely to be how you left it.

What's involved with getting a cover?

If this is your first safety cover, we'll come out and take the proper measurements for your new safety cover. After that, we can give you a price on how much it will cost, including labor. Once it's engineered, we'll come out and drill the anchor points, which during the summer time sit flat with the surface surrounding your pool. These anchors are placed at key points, which is dictated by the safety cover's recommendations. After that, it's just a matter of covering the pool by inserting the straps to the anchors, and tightening where needed. Many of our customers also choose to have their pool professionally closed when we do this, for extra reassurance.
